Dorian Consort represents a new incarnation of Dorian Chamber Orchestra & Choir, which was founded in 2017. We consist of a small group of musicians, creating intimate performances of both classic and lesser-known repertoire across London and the South East of England.
Samuel Gordon Huston studied for his undergraduate degree at Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge, where he held two academic scholarships, two instrumental awards and sang in the College Choir. He graduated with a double first in Music. He is now studying for an MPerf at the Royal College of Music. His conducting experience began whilst he was still at school, and he has since worked with a number of ensembles, mainly focusing on early and contemporary music. Alongside his work as a conductor, he is also an accomplished clarinettist.
